Best Energy Efficiency Innovation Award
Vivid Technology (VIV) is pleased to announce that it is the winner of the EEC (Energy Efficiency Council) Best Energy Efficiency Innovation Award – Matrixx® – An Intelligent IoT LED Lighting Platform. Other winners of awards this year included the Victorian State Government for their Energy Upgrades Program, Siemens and the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) or their Energy Efficiency Enhancements and RMIT University for their Urban Precincts Program.
The National Energy Efficiency Awards 2017 recognised and celebrated excellence in energy efficiency, cogeneration and demand management. Judges considered performance, leadership and innovation for new products that deliver improvements in energy productivity. Presented by the Energy Efficiency Council (EEC), the National Energy Efficiency Awards are Australia’s highest profile honours dedicated to excellence in energy efficiency.
This year, Vivid Technology was asked to present amongst other industry experts to outline the game changing innovations and technologies that will alter the way we use and manage energy. Vivid Technology Executive, Sam Redmond, presented on how the Internet of Things (IoT) provides real-time energy efficiency insights that drive commercial outcomes.
Vivid Technology has developed an intelligent, energy efficient, lighting and service solution for the industrial and commercial markets. The unique Australian designed and manufactured, MATRIXX® technology has demonstrated its capability as a highly effective “industrial internet of things” lighting platform, consistently generating benchmarked energy savings in excess of 85%, significantly reducing energy cost and life-cycle environmental impact. It is also demonstrated to be 74% more efficient than typical mainstream LED systems being installed, and outperforms other industrial systems in the market today on efficiency, quality, reliability and intelligence.

WESTPAC BUSINESS OF THE FUTURE AWARD WON BY VIVID INDUSTRIAL

Westpac’s award recognises “businesses that will help shape Australia’s future”, following a 2016 report by Deloitte Access Economics. The awards were judged by a number of successful Australian business leaders and eminent business experts and Westpac representatives.
